Palletising Systems
The machines that are used to place goods or different products on a pallet are called palletizers and the whole system is called the palletizing system. There are different kinds of palletizing systems such as robotic palletizing systems, high level palletizing systems, and low level palletizing systems. The main advantage of a palletizing system is that it allows objects like goods, drums, crates and cases to be placed on a pallet in the most efficient way possible: therefore a palletizing system helps to increase the plant's production.
A robotic palletizing system is inexpensive and available at affordable prices. This type of palletizing system requires minimal operator input and doesn't require any type of manual lifting or handling.
Most recent palletizing systems are fully automatic and ensure safety, speed and great reliability and, last but not least, have great throughput and are capable of serving different production lines with different types of products: automatic palletizing systems can automatically recognize objects of different shapes and sizes and can serve several lines at the same time.
Advantages of palletising systems
-
Flexibility of Controls: compared to manual palletizing, a robotic palletizing system provides the user with a model that gives them the flexibility to handle any kind of product (even if it is very heavy or large).
-
Safety: the in-built safety features of a modern automatic palletizing system offer greater safety compared to manual palletizing, thereby reducing labor injuries.
-
Speed and efficiency: automatic palletizing systems improve the efficiency and the speed of the plant. A robotic system can perform better and palletize a hundred times faster than a human.
