Palletizer Machine
The palletizer machine is a device that is used to stack factory goods and products on to a pallet. The first palletizer was built and installed in 1948. Row-forming palletizers were introduced in the early 1950's that were used to arrange the goods in a row. In-line palletizers were built in 1970's when high speed was increasingly needed for palletizing. robotic palletizer machines, which have a single arm, were introduced in the early 1980's.
A robotic palletizer machine is a complex machine which is used to pack boxes at a very high speed. Whenever you talk with anyone about a palletizer machine, the first thing which will come to their mind is an automatic or robotic palletizer machine. There must be a means to bring products and a pallet together. This usually requires two or more rolling platforms, but in some cases workers move pallets manually. When the palletizer machine has the boxes and the pallet in reach, it picks up the boxes and neatly arranges them onto a pallet. The boxes are usually of the same size but some palletizer machines are programmed to recognize differently-sized packages. These palletizers are capable of distinguishing the different sizes and they put the boxes on their pallets. The palletizer machine neatly stacks the boxes into rows and packs (or wraps) the pallet. In some cases, pallets are moved away from the machine and packed/wrapped either by hand or by some other machine.
There are several types of palletizer machines such as high level in-feed, low level in-feed, semi- automatic palletizers and robotic palletizers. Semi-automatic palletizer machines are cheaper and are available at affordable prices. This type of palletizer machines is designed for stacking goods or products in a particular pattern. Semi-automatic palletizers require minimum operator input. Low level in-feed palletizer machines are fully automatic. This type of machine makes handling of boxes very easy and these machines ensure great reliability, speed and safety. High level in-feed palletizer machines are also fully automatic, can have a multi-product palletizer, and can serve multiple production lines
